In summer, the area is known for its wonderful hiking trails and the many mountain huts and shelters.
Do not forget to visit some of the must-haves of the area such as the Marmolada with the First World War Museum, the Serrai di Sottoguda gorge, the "Vittorino Cazzetta" civic museum in Selva di Cadore with the dinosaur footprints found on the Pelmetto and man of "Mondeval", the Castle of "Andraz".
