The Baita Valfreda is a refuge nestled in one of the most evocative corners of Val del Biois, surrounded by pastures, woods and Dolomite landscapes that change colour with the seasons. The wooden building preserves all the charm of ancient mountain dwellings, with warm spaces, carefully curated details and an alpine atmosphere that immediately makes one feel at home.

Inside there is a spacious living area, furnished with natural wood, a traditional-style stove and comfortable spaces where you can relax after a day of trails and hikes. The kitchen is functional and welcoming, perfect for preparing meals in peace. The bedroom maintains the traditional style of the house (mattresses placed on the ground - no slatted beds), while the additional night area offers sufficient space to accommodate up to six people without compromising comfort. The bathroom, recently renovated, combines rustic elements with modern finishes.

The chalet is surrounded by an extraordinary landscape: just outside the door, meadows and panoramas of the peaks open up, a natural invitation to walk, breathe pure air and experience the mountain in an authentic way. The isolated location ensures silence and privacy, while remaining a short distance from Falcade and the San Pellegrino Ski Area.

It is an ideal solution for families, couples, and friends seeking a true Dolomite experience, filled with nature, tranquillity, and tradition.

NB: The cabin is located on an unpaved forest road, not suitable for all vehicles. It will only be accessible by car with a specific permit, which will be sent by the agency once the vehicle registration plate is provided (only one can be authorised).

If your car is not suitable for off-road terrain, you can still reach the mountain hut with a simple 15-minute walk (900 metres), leaving the car in the large car park at the beginning of the trail.
